The Paramount Room is also available for event booking. I had the privilege of attending the October 22nd Jabee show, along with musical openers O Fidelis and Beach Language, and was able to get a feel for the vibe of this venue space. The space is large enough to hold 300 people (standing-room; no dance floor), 200 (sitting), but most comfortably 180 (sitting.) Even with a capacity of hundreds, the room still embodies a living room-like intimacy. The white walls and warm wooden floors add a friendly feeling, and substantial sized windows in the main room lets in glorious natural light during the day while also providing a hawk eye view of the street corner and downtown Oklahoma City.
Moving west from the main room lies the bar, lounge, side room and rest rooms. Music records and film posters line these connecting hallways in novel fashion. This side of The Paramount Room is an enjoyable getaway from the hubbub of the main room, while still maintaining a close proximity to the event action. In the corner of the lounge, lies a shuffleboard and pinball machine. Lastly, parking is no problem with the ample fenced lot adjacent on the west side of The Paramount.
There is plenty to do for adults and families alike in this building, now go forth and check out the Oklahoma City goodness that is The Paramount Room and The Paramount on historic Film Row!
